Burlington, Ia- The City of Burlington has hired Impact7G, Inc. to conduct a study on the future of Cascade Bridge along South Main Street leading to Dankwardt Park in Burlington.
The study is intended to solicit public input, review past engineering reports, and consider future alternatives for the structure in order for the city to arrive at a decision regarding the fate of both the historic structure and a potential future crossing of Cascade Creek.
Impact7G has also been tasked with coordinating with the State Historical Society of Iowa on measures that could reduce various potential negative effects on the structure.
