Burlington Ia- On Wednesday at approximately 11:45 a.m. Burlington Police department arrested 41-year-old Alphonso Edmonds of Burlington.
Edmonds was arrested in the 1200-block of South 14th Street on a Federal Warrant for Conspiracy to Deliver Methamphetamine.
The arrest stems from an ongoing multi-jurisdictional investigation into the illegal distribution of methamphetamine in the greater Burlington area.
Edmonds is currently being held at Des Moines County Jail on no bond pending a court appearance.
