Shots fired incident leads to arrest of two missing minors from Mary Davis Home

Davenport, Ia (KWQC) – One adult and two minors have been arrested following a shots fired incident that happened Thursday in Davenport.

Police say the two minors were identified as the escapees from the Mary Davis Home in Knox County. All juveniles are now in custody. One 15-year-old boy is charged with 1st-degree robbery and interference, and another 15-year-old was taken into custody.

18-year-old Lamonde Ramerus Lathan-Burge of Davenport was charged with 1st-degree robbery. Police say the robbery charge was from an incident that happened on November 27th in the 1600 block of Rockingham Road.

According to court documents, it shows that Lathan-Burge and the 15-year-old were picked up by the victim and went to The Super Saver on Rockingham Road on November 27. They then, according to officials, pulled a gun on the victim and forced them out of his vehicle. Officials say Lathan-Burge and the 15-year-old took the victim’s vehicle by force and without his permission. Lathan-Burge admitted to his involvement in the robbery according to officials.
