Des Moines, Ia- An Indianola woman has been charged with insurance fraud.
36-year-old Aichia M. Levy of Indianola was recently charged with one count of Fraudulent Submissions (Class D Felony) following an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau.
The charge against Levy stems from an investigation that began in April of 2019. It is alleged Levy provided false information to an insurer in order to obtain insurance benefits she was not entitled to receive.
Levy was arrested on December 2 and booked into the Polk County Jail. She was later released after posting the required bond. A Trial will be set for a future date.
