Burlington, Ia (The Hawk Eye)- Two of the three highest polling Democratic presidential candidates will visit Burlington in the coming days.
The Hawk Eye reports that Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will host a campaign rally from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Steamboat Senior Center, 501 Jefferson St. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren will make her second trip to Burlington Monday for a town hall at the Pzazz Convention and Event Center, 3001 Winegard Dr. Doors will open at 4 p.m., with the event beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Sanders and Warren are tied for second at 16 percent in nationwide polls, with Pete Buttigieg not far behind at 12 percent, according to The New York Times. Joe Biden still holds the lead at 26 percent.
