26-year-old Joshua Eakins of Ottumwa was arrested by Burlington police at North 8th and Linden streets late Monday Night. He was arrested for Diving while Barred, a 2nd offense OWI, and a Des Moines County warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault. He was taken to Des Moines County Jail on no bond.
30-year-old Steven Weems was apprehended at 9th and Athena streets in Burlington early Tuesday Morning. He was arrested for 1st Degree Harassment, presenting a false ID to law enforcement, and two out of county warrants for domestic abuse assault and probation violation with an original charge of assault with a weapon. He was taken to Des Moines County Jail on no bond.
