Democratic Presidential Candidate Andrew yang will start 2020 with a campaign tour around southeast Iowa.
Yang and his wife, Evelyn, will arrive at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Pleasant for a meet and greet at Central Park Coffee Co., 120 S. Main St.
Yang’s next stop will be in Wapello at 5:15 p.m. at Shaggy’s Gourmet Burgers at 308 U.S. 61.
Yang then will make his way to Burlington for an office opening at 7 p.m. at 320 N. Fourth St. before an event at The Washington, 306 Washington St. at 8 p.m.
Yang will make two stops Sunday in Lee County: First, at 4:15 p.m. for a town hall event at Simple Table, 617 Seventh St., Fort Madison, and the second at 5:30 p.m. at Keokuk Labor Temple, 301 Blondeau St., Keokuk.
All events are free and open to the public.
