Polk County, Ia (KCRG) – A Polk County deputy is okay after a semi slammed into his patrol vehicle Wednesday.
According to a post on the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, The deputy ran from his patrol car on I-80 when a semi lost control during the icy weather.
The sheriff’s office says this should be a reminder for drivers to use caution and watch out for emergency vehicles.
