Burlington, Ia- A Burlington woman has been arrested on multiple counts of forgery and counterfeiting.
Over the past several weeks the Burlington Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division has been conducting an investigation into numerous check forgeries in the Burlington and West Burlington area.
On Thursday the Burlington and West Burlington Police Departments, and the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant on a residence in West Burlington.
During the execution of the search warrant, officers found and arrested 33-year-old Kathy Dawn Conard of West Burlington, on numerous felony Des Moines County Warrants for Forgery.
She was taken to Des Moines County Jail with a bond of $30,000.
