Dyersville, IA (The Des Moines Register)  If you’re hoping to visit the Field of Dreams movie site the week of Major League Baseball’s game between the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox, well, you better have a ticket.

Go The Distance, which owns and runs the iconic baseball movie site, announced that the grounds would be inaccessible to fans from Aug. 8 to 16. The White Sox and Yankees will play an MLB game Aug. 13 on a specially made field on the grounds.

“It’s an agreement between us and Major League Baseball to secure the site the week of the game, in preparation for the game and (recover) after it,” said Roman Weinberg, the director of operations for Go The Distance.

So, if you want to get on the grounds during the days leading up to the game, you’ll likely need one of those heavily sought after tickets. A spokesperson for MLB told the Des Moines Register on Thursday that information regarding ticket plans for the game will be made in March or April. There is expected to be a public offering.
