Burlington, Ia- In a press release from the Iowa Department of Public health, Des Moines County was listed as having one additional case of COVID-19.
Des Moines County Public Health, however, says that is not the case.
Public Health Director Christa Poggemiller told the Hawk Eye that upon further review of the case by local health officials, it was determined that there were no new cases in Des Moines County.
The IDPH is reviewing why an additional case was reported in Des Moines County.
So far in Des Moines County, only one case has been reported, an older adult between the ages of 61 and 80, which was reported on March 25th. This case was believed to be related to travel.
