JEFF COLWELL LED THE WAY WITH A 39 AND WEST CENTRAL BEAT SOUTHEASTERN 173 TO 183 AT THE TRI-COUNTY COUNTRY CLUB IN AUGUSTA(IL).  

***AND AT THE GOLF-WEEK CONFERENCE CHALLENGE AT SPIRIT HOLLOW IN BURLINGTON, VIRGINIA TECH JUNIOR SCOTT VINCENT SHOT A FINAL ROUND 64 YESTERDAY(TUE), VAULTING HIM INTO A TIE WITH STEWART JOLLY OF LSU FOR FIRST PLACE, AND PUSHING HIS HOKIES INTO SECOND PLACE IN THE TEAM STANDINGS BEHIND OKLAHOMA.   ALEX MCMAHON OF ARIZONA AND JAMES NEWTON OF CENTRAL ARKANSAS TIED FOR THIRD, ONE SHOT BEHIND VINCENT & JOLLY.    IOWA FINISHED 6TH AS A TEAM, LED BY RYAN MARKS WITH A 216 AND STEVEN IHM, WHO SHOT A 218.
