.A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE MIDWEST LATE TONIGHT AND
TUESDAY. WARMER AIR ALOFT WILL ALLOW A MIXTURE OF SNOW AND SLEET
TO DEVELOP PRIOR TO SUNRISE. AS TEMPERATURES RISE AFTER
SUNRISE...A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE AS THE
MIXED PRECIPITATION CHANGES OVER TO ALL RAIN ALONG AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 80.
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM CST
TUESDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN QUAD CITIES HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM CST TUESDAY.
* TIMING...LATE TONIGHT THROUGH THE MORNING COMMUTE.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN AN INCH.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...AROUND A TRACE. ANY ICE THAT OCCURS WILL
MELT AFTER THE MORNING COMMUTE.
* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S.
* IMPACTS...THE MIXED PRECIPITATION MAY RESULT IN SLICK ROADS FOR
THE MORNING COMMUTE.
