Betty Jean Stevenson, 94, of Oquawka, Illinois died at 11:00 a.m. Sunday October 19, 2014 at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington, Iowa. She was born January 4, 1920 near Blandinsville, Illinois, the daughter of Willis and Reva Mustain Adams. On August 1, 1933, she married William F. “Bill” Stevenson in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2010. Mrs. Stevenson was a graduate of Stronghurst High School. Clark Wesley Dunn, 69, of Colusa, IL passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at his home. Clark was born on May 4, 1945 in Ft. Madison Iowa, the son of Wesley and Bernice Dunn. Born April 30, 1933, at his parent’s farm house on Cliff Road in Burlington, IA, he was the son of Arnold Henry Sr. and Carrie Cecelia Riepe Wiemann. On October 25, 1952, he married Janet Elaine Kapotas in Burlington, Iowa. He was a 1952 graduate of Burlington High School where he was a member of the track relay team during his senior year. Born March 4, 1955, in Burlington, he was the son of William Robert and Dorothy Louise Hawkins Horst. On March 13, 1982, he married MaryAnn Fagan. They later divorced. The funeral service for Mr. Charles Raymond McCabe, 87, of New London, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, New London. Interment with military rites by the Henry County Honor Guard will be held at Burge Cemetery, rural New London. Visitation will begin after noon Monday at Elliott Chapel, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials have been established for the New London VFW Post # 7641 and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Novella Danette Shelton, 52, died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa. She was born August 23, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of David Lee Shelton and Raye Ann McHaskell Bramlett. Novella was a registered nurse.
