William D. “Bill” Horst, 59, of West Burlington, died at 12:07 PM Sunday, October 12, 2014, at his home. Born March 4, 1955, in Burlington, he was the son of William Robert and Dorothy Louise Hawkins Horst. On March 13, 1982, he married MaryAnn Fagan. They later divorced. The funeral service for Mr. Charles Raymond McCabe, 87, of New London, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, New London. Interment with military rites by the Henry County Honor Guard will be held at Burge Cemetery, rural New London. Visitation will begin after noon Monday at Elliott Chapel, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials have been established for the New London VFW Post # 7641 and the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Celebration of Life for Linda McNitt will be held in Prugh’s Chapel on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 am. Pastor Sam Fratt will officiate. Interment: n/a

He was born June 16, 1943 in Galesburg, Illinois, the son of Floyd and Alice Benson Martin. On July 25, 1963, he married Linda K. Hawk in Bushnell, Illinois.
