Born on April 22, 1923 in Lebanon, Iowa, she was the daughter of Craig W. and Elizabeth A. Koonts Johnston. She married Roger Hansen December 27, 1943 in Wheaton, Illinois. Born February 2, 1940, in Burlington, he was the son of George Herman and Rosemary Donohoo Mathes. On August 26, 1967, he married Rita J. Bruty in Washington, IA.  

Bill worked as an electrical engineer and in electronic quality control, retiring in 2011.

Born August 31, 1935, in Hillsboro, IA, he was the son of Robert and Gertrude Hixson Newbold. On June 13, 1954, he married Gayle Joan Moffett in Hillsboro.

Leila L. Lewis, age 81 of Stronghurst, Illinois died at 2:40 a.m. Monday June 9, 2014 at Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab Center in Stronghurst. She was born July 7, 1932 in Princeton, California, the daughter of John and Lorraine Head Hagle. On May 14, 1950, she married Earl Wesley “Wes” Lewis in Marysville, California. He preceded her in death on June 28, 2001.
