A RUN-SCORING SINGLE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE NINTH INNING LAST(THUR) NITE SPELLED DOOM FOR THE BURLINGTON BEES.  THEIR 3-GAME WINNING STREAK CAME TO AN END IN CLINTON, AS THE LUMBER-KINGS BEAT THEM 6 TO 5 AT ASHFORD UNIVERSITY FIELD.  

THE SERIES IS NOW TIED AT A GAME APIECE AND THE RUBBER GAME WILL BE PLAYED TONITE(FRI) AND YOU CAN HEAR IT ON KBUR, BEGINNING WITH THE BRANDON MARCUS PREGAME SHOW AT 6:10.

Bees Community Basket Day/Local Track & Field Winners at State

THE BURLINGTON BEES CELEBRATED COMMUNITY BASKET DAY WITH A 6 TO 4 WIN OVER THE WISCONSIN TIMBER RATTLERS, THE SECOND VICTORY IN TWO DAYS AGAINST THE SNAKES. 

 

PLAYING IN FRONT OF A CROWD OF NEARLY 14-HUNDRED, THE BEES HAD JUST SIX HITS, BUT TWO OF THEM WERE HOMERS, BY WADE HINKLE AND CHEVY CLARKE.  THE TWO TEAMS WILL PLAY AGAIN TONITE(MON) AT COMMUNITY FIELD AND YOU CAN HEAR IT ALL ON KBUR.  BY THE WAY, THE WINNER OF THE COMMUNITY BASKET GRAND PRIZE WAS STEVE RASHID OF FT. MADISON.
