JUNIOR WRESTLER STEVEN HOLLOWAY WON THE CLASS 2A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AT 195 POUNDS, BEATING ALBIA’S CARTER ISLEY 3 TO 2…SENIOR DREW FOSTER PLACED SECOND AT 160 POUNDS, LOSING TO JACOB HOLSCHLAG OF LAPORTE CITY UNION…AND THE BULLDOGS TOOK SECOND PLACE AS A TEAM BEHIND ASSUMPTION. FORT MADISON’S BRYCE MEYER FINISHED SECOND AT 126 POUNDS TO MASON CITY’S KAZ ONOO IN THE 3A TITLE MATCH. BURLINGTON’S DALTON WITTE TOOK 5TH IN 3A AT 170…AND A NUMBER OF OTHER LOCAL WRESTLERS ALSO PLACED IN THEIR DIVISIONS. WE’LL HAVE MORE TOMORROW(MON) MORNING. Continue Reading
