Upcoming Road Work in Burlington

The Burlington Public Works Directors Office has announced that beginning tomorrow at 7am, reconstruction will start on the ADA Pedestrian Ramps along Mt. Pleasant Street from Cook to Chalfant.

Traffic may be restricted at various locations. Work is expected to take 6 weeks, weather permitting.

Also, a revised news release reports that beginning immediately, Winegard Drive, north of the Pzazz, will be closed to traffic between the Highway 61 frontage road and Cottonwood Court. A private contractor working for the city will be removing  a communications tower and the general motoring public. Work is expected to take 3-4 days.
