“What’s happened is that the rain that came through this afternoon basically froze when it hit the gravel roads. The paved roads are fine, but the gravel roads turned to a sheet of ice. We have motor graders out doing their best. Since it didn’t start til this afternoon, we won’t get a whole lot of territory covered today. If it stays like this, we’ll have them out again tomorrow if it hasn’t melted away.”
There have already been reports of people stuck in ditches.
