Where: at Great River Hospice House, West Burlington, Iowa,

 

Survivors: He is survived by his mother, Helen Bechtel of Burlington, Iowa; two sons, Eric (Katie Garcia) Lee and Sean (Adrienne) Lee, both of Burlington, Iowa; two daughters, Shannon (David) Kroll of Nashville, Tennessee and Bobbie (Tom) Cobb of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Josh, Brittany, Preston and Caden; one great-granddaughter, Avery; one brother, Ron (Sheryl) Lee of Burlington, Iowa; one nephew, Tristin; one step-brother, Fred Bechtel Jr. of Burlington, Iowa; several cousins; and his pet daschund, Joey.

 

Memorial Service:  for Tommy Lee will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at Prugh’s Chapel.  Mr. Mark McBride will officiate.

 

Interment: n/a

 

Other arrangements: The family will receive friends in Prugh’s Chapel from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m.  Following the service a Memorial Jam Session will be held at The Washington, Burlington, Iowa.  Cremation has been entrusted to Prugh Funeral Service. Where: at Great River Medical Center, West Burlington, Iowa,

 

Survivors:  She is survived by 1 son, Paul Wilkins Jr. of Burlington, Iowa;

3 daughters, Ciera Wilkins of Burlington, Iowa, Yasmeen Tish and Tamia Tish, both at home;

her mother, Bertha Brown of Burlington, Iowa;

her father, Haywood Love Jr. of Buffalo, New York;

2 sisters, Terah Hunter of Burlington, Iowa and Kasey Brown of West Burlington, Iowa;

2 brothers, Robert Clark of Atlanta, Georgia and Dominique Peterson of Burlington, Iowa;

 paternal grandfather, Norford Hunter of Buffalo, New York;

 several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews including local aunts and uncles, Fred (Vivienne) Starling of Burlington, Iowa, Jesse Starling of Burlington, Iowa, Bernard Hunter of Buffalo, New York and Jerry Hunter of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

 

Funeral Service:will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, Burlington, Iowa. Pastor Fred Starling will officiate.

 

Interment: will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

Sharri Lynn Richard, age 49 of Carman, Illinois died at 4:25 a.m.Wednesday March 5, 2014 at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington, Iowa. She was September 2, 1964 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the daughter of R. Lynn and Margie Burrell Brown. On February 12, 1983, she married Brian G. Richard in Lomax, Illinois.

 

Sharri graduated from Southern High School in Stronghurst and received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from SoutheasternCommunity College. She was an Administrative Assistant for BurlingtonCareCenter from 1982 to 1996. From 1996 until present, she was the District Secretary, first for Southern Schools, and later the consolidated West Central Unit District 235. She was active in school and community affairs, and enjoyed boating, racing, and especially, her grandchildren. She was a member of the Lomax Christian Church.

 

Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Jamie (Wayne) Landheer of Carman, three grandchildren, Jayda Taha, Jaycee and Jenna Daniels, her parents, Lynn and Margie Brown of Moore Haven, FL., her grandmother, Isabelle Brown of Stronghurst, two sisters, Julie (Doug) Brooks of Carman, Kathy (John) Lafary of Smithshire, IL., one brother, Jim Brown of Stronghurst, fifteen nieces and nephews, Hillary, Mariah, Monica, Allison, Mallory, Jordyn, Erin, Sean, Lindi, Brien, Megan, Eric, Rio, River, and Josh, and one (soon to be) great nephew, Brooks, whose arrival is expected in March.

 

She was preceded in death by grandparents, George Brown and Jimmie and Ruth Burrell, and two uncles, Larry Burrell and William “Bill” Brown.

 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday in the West Central Middle School Gymnasium in Stronghurst. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m.Saturday, March 8, 2014 at West Central Middle School Gymnasium, with Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the CarmanCemetery. Memorials have been established for WestCentralSchools, and Henderson County Home Health & Hospice. Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Stronghurst is in charge of arrangements.
