After a successful event last year, it’s now time again for another Donate Life Night at Community Field in Burlington.
The event circles around 10-year-old Garrett Brockway who passed away in February last year, and because he was an organ donor, saved several lives. His parents Tiffini and Bruce Brockway, have now held several community events to honor their son and to spread the word of organ donation.
Tiffini says that this Saturday night at the ballpark will be a chance to become an organ donor and win prizes for already being one….
Last year’s event was all about signing people up to donate organs. Tiffini says Burlington and surrounding communities really came through….
Brockway assures there will be tons to do this Saturday night at community field, whether you’re an adult, child, or not even a baseball fan. The gates open at 5:30pm with the game starting at 6:30pm.
