A Burlington woman will face a felony charge of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, for allegedly firing a shotgun into the home at 117 North Garfield Avenue early Sunday afternoon.
City police say 34-year old Nina Burrell of 13-11 Aetna Street was apparently upset with her sister…Jessie Ussery…for having sex with Nina’s boyfriend and she knew Ussery to be at the house on Garfield. Authorities picked up Burrell at her home Sunday and took her to the county jail. A judge set her bond at $5,000 cash only.
If she’s found guilty, Burrell could go to prison for up to 10 years.
