The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in solving a slew of burglaries in the area.
A press release from the Henderson County Sheriff’s department says that the burglaries occurred either early Sunday night or early Monday morning.
The Ayerco gas station at the corner of US 34 and Carmen Road was burglarized, with the perpetrator or perpetrators managing to steal the safe from the station. North of Carman, a farm machine shed and Illinois Department of Transportation Field office was also broken into, where thieves stole equipment and tools. The Ideal Hunting and Fishing Club, between Lomax and Dallas City, was also burglarized along with a number of personal campers.
