In prep soccer on the girl’s side, Notre Dame-West Burlington/Danville won their 14th game in row with a win over Keokuk 10-0. Mount Pleasant over Mediapolis 2-0.
In prep softball action, Illini West beat Rushville-Industry 9-0.
In the NBA Draft last night the Brooklyn Nets won the number one overall pick–but it’s one they will never get to use after trading that pick away in 2013 to the Boston Celtics. The Celtics start their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Eastern Conference title tonight.
