The Burlington Bees were held to one run in a 2-1 loss to the Peoria Chiefs in 11 innings yesterday on the road.  Bees are at it again tonight against Cedar Rapids on the road. That game can be heard on Fox Sports 104.5 and 1360 at 6:30.

The St. Louis Cardinals’ season-high eight game win streak is over now. They were held to one run over seven innings as they fell to the Braves 6-3. The Chicago Cubs have regained sole possession of first place in the NL Central, one game ahead of St. Louis and two in front of Milwaukee…Cubs beat Arizona, 7-2. The Minnesota Twins kept pace by winning for the seventh time in eight games, getting homers from Brian Dozier and Miguel Sano in a 6-4 decision over Detroit. Kansas City Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 14-6.
