The St. Louis Cardinals fell to the Tampa Bay Rays 3-2 last night in a game that went 10 innings. Cardinals are off tonight. The Chicago Cubs fell against Philadelphia 6-3. The Kansas City Royals haven’t scored in 34 consecutive innings now–a franchise record. They lost yesterday to the Cleveland Indians 12-0. Lucas Giolito picked up his first big league win by tossing three-hit ball over seven shutout innings to lead the White Sox past the Tigers, 7-1.
In preseason NFL action the Chicago Bears won over the Tennessee Titans on the road, 19-7. Minnesota Vikings over San Francisco 32-31.
