Following weeks of controversial national-anthem protests, polls say the Professional Football is no longer the most popular sport in the United States.
The Washington Examiner reports that a September poll conducted by The Winston Group pointed to a significant drop in popularity… especially among a key demographic.
Only 42% of men ages 34-54 reported having a favorable opinion of the NFL, down more than 30% from a poll in August.
The poll pointed to Major League Baseball as having once again become the most popular sport in the country, having only a 13% unfavorable rating.
The poll was conducted by the Winston Group August 28th-29th, and September 29th-30th, the margin-of-error was not reported.
