Steamboat Days volunteers serve up cold brews at the SBD “Wet Your Whistle” party
Hot weather didn’t stop the annual kick-off party for Burlington Steamboat Days. A few hundred people partied at the Steamboat Days south stage, which was set up for the Wet Your Whistle Party in the Memorial Auditorium parking lot Friday night.
Five bands that will be rocking the stage during Steamboat Days performed sets that lasted well past sundown along Burlington’s riverfront.
The annual event serves as the official preview for Burlington Steamboat Days. This year’s music festival features headline acts Charlie Daniels, Jefferson Starship, Survivor, Fuel, Shaman’s Harvest, Sister Hazel, and Craig Morgan. Steamboat Days will run June 14-17.
