The Burlington Police Department arrested 52 year old Kenneth Cheney on possession of meth charges at 9:20 Saturday night. He was transported to the Des Moines County Jail on $1000 bond.

34 year old Derek Schneider was arrested at 1:14 AM on Saturday for failure to appear on two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was held at the Des Moines County Jail on $2000 cash bond.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant for 28 year old Jesse McCabe on July 20th for a sex offender registration violation. Judge Emily Dean ordered McCabe held for court. He was taken into custody at 8:04 this (Monday) morning.

Charges of failure to appear for an OWI compliance hearing lead to the arrest of 24 year old Edward Tapscott on Sunday. He was held on $1000 bond.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

21 year old Kelsey Williams was arrested on a court order from Judge Kruse for a violation of her probation. Williams has pending cases in Des Moines County District Court for fifth degree theft, trespassing, introducing intoxicants or drugs into an institution and third degree theft. According to court records, Williams failed to appear at a hearing on the 27th of this month and forfeited her bond as well as generating a warrant for her arrest and revocation of her probation.
