Rayvon Stevenson

19 year old Rayvon Stevenson was taken into custody by the Burlington Police Department on Saturday. According to the criminal complaint Stevenson attempted to give officers the wrong name after attempted to run, he claimed a name on a backpack in his possession was his name. Police found marijuana in the backpack and learned his true identity. Stevenson had outstanding warrants in Des Moines County for escape from custody and a violations of probation. He was held on those warrants and was also charged with giving a false ID to law enforcement, interference with official acts and the marijuana in his possession. He was taken to the Des Moines County Jain on no bond.

 


Charles Sweezer

 

The Des Moines County Sheriff’s office has charged 33 year old Charles Sweezer with possession of contraband. Sweezer was charged Saturday at 5:50 in the evening. He was held at the Des Moines County jail on a $5000 bond.

 

 

 


Jason Dykes

 

Officers with the Burlington Police Department witnessed a motorcycle that was the subject of an accident passing them as they responded to another call. The operator of the motorcycle, 38 year old Jason Dykes was later stopped by police. Officer administered a field sobriety test which Dykes allegedly failed. According to the criminal complaint he refused other tests and the breathalyzer. He was subsequently arrested for OWI third offense, driving under suspension, leaving the scene of an accident and not having insurance. He was held on a $5000 bond at the Des Moines County Jail.

 


Jermaine Harris

 

The Burlington Police Department arrested 24 year old Jermaine Harris on two outstanding warrants in Des Moines County. Harris was held at the Des Moines County Jail on a warrant for first degree burglary and a second warrant for failure to appear. He was held on no bond pending his initial court appearance.
