A speeding violation led to the arrest of 28-year-old Steve Hopson on a charge of driving while barred. He was stopped for going over the 55 miles an hour speed limit and subsequently arrested on the other charge by the West Burlington Police Department. Hopson was taken to the Des Moines County Jail on 3:51 yesterday (Monday) afternoon on a $2000 bond.
Dana Albright
The Burlington Police Department arrested 34-year-old Dana Albright yesterday (Monday) at 12:30 in the afternoon. She is charged with simple domestic abuse, assault. She was transported to the Des Moines County Jail on no bond where she was held pending her initial court appearance.
Steve Weigert
60-year-old Steve Weigert was arrested at 10:26 yesterday (Monday) morning on a warrant for failure to appear. He is facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Weigert was arrested at 10:26 in the morning on the warrant by the Burlington Police Department and was taken to the county jail on a $20,000 bond.
