Senator Kamala Harris
United States Senator and Presidential Hopeful Kamala Harris was in Burlington to talk about Healthcare. One of the questions posed to her was what her plan is to tackle mental health in America.
Harris said her top priority is to make mental health care a part of her Medicare for all plan. Harris said she would like to make Mental Health Care an on demand service and just as accessible as physical health care.
Harris also criticized what she called the top down approach to mental health care.
