Fort Madison, Ia (Burlington Beacon)- Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg made a campaign stop this past Sunday in Lee County.
The Burlington Beacon reports that Buttigieg hosted a town hall Sunday evening at the YMCA in Fort Madison. He told those in attendance that it was time to change the balance of power and start making the system work for communities, such as Fort Madison. He railed against wage disparity and chided the cost of health care for working families.
The first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses will take place on Feb. 3.
