Des Moines, Ia (AP)-  Iowa lawmakers are convening for the 2020 legislative session with taxes, workforce and child care issues on their minds. Republicans remain in the majority in the House and Senate, and leaders have promised that in the session beginning Monday, they will tackle some of the problems that they argue hinder business growth. Those issues include taxes, a lack of available workers and a shortage of affordable child care. One of the first tasks will be to install a new House speaker. That position is expected to go to Pat Grassley, grandson of U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley.
