Burlington, Ia- The Shearers Foods plant in Burlington has officially confirmed a second case of COVID-19.
In a news release, the company says that the worker contracted the virus from a non-employee.
Officials with the company said the individual will be in self-quarantine for the next 2 weeks, but did not say when the person became sick or when they were tested.
This confirmation comes 4 weeks after the plant reported its first positive case.
