Burlington, Ia- On Sunday, April 19th, 2020 the Burlington Police Department received numerous complaints of criminal mischief to vehicles parked in the south hill area of Burlington.
Officers located more than 30 vehicles which had been damaged. The total damage to vehicles was in excess of $10,000.00.
The Burlington Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division began investigating the incident and on Tuesday, May 12th, 2020 arrested 20 year old Jeremy Lee Hand, and 18 year old Xavier Zane Sourwine for 1st degree Criminal Mischief.
Both are being held at the Des Moines County Jail on $25,000 bond pending a court appearance.
