Businesses in Iowa to Re-open

open

Burlington, Ia-  Starting today (Friday), many businesses will be re-opening to the public, under new guidelines.

Businesses like fitness centers, salons and barber shops, restaurants, libraries, museums, and various others will be allowed to open up again at their discretion.

These openings will likely be a welcome change to the public after nearly 2 months in heavy quarantine.

Others in the state remain skeptical of the governor’s decision, citing the risk of a new spike in cases resulting from these openings.  However, the Governor remains confident that citizens will be responsible and do their part to avoid another surge in cases.
