Burlington, Ia- The Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force had been investigating reports of a suspect dealing narcotics in the Burlington area for the past several months.
On Thursday, May 21st, the task force, the Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement, the Burlington Police Department, and the Des Moines County Tactical Response Unit executed a search warrant at 313 South 6th Street in Burlington.
39-year-old Adam Branton of Burlington was arrested on 2 federal arrest warrants for Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Branton is being held at Des Moines County Jail without bond pending a court appearance.
