Mount Pleasant, Ia- The Access Energy Cooperative Board of Directors voted at their regular meeting on May 13th to modify the format of the 2020 Annual Meeting of Members on August 4th, and eliminate the in-person portion of the meeting and conduct the election of directors by mail and electronic voting only.
In a news release the Cooperative said that in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and for the protection of the health and safety of the members and employees, the Board voted on May 22nd to approve this change.
The cooperative encourages members to still take part in the director election. Any member voting by the deadline, either electronically or by mail, will receive a $10 bill credit. Voting materials and instructions will be mailed July 6.
