Burlington Man Sentenced to Prison for Firearm Offense

Davenport, Ia- A Burlington man has been sentenced to 80 months in prison for a firearm offense.

34-year-old Jonathan Sneed of Burlington was sentenced Tuesday to 80 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.  Sneed was also ordered to pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

Sneed pleaded guilty on February 18th and admitted back in September of 2018 that he possessed a loaded .380 caliber Hi-Point pistol after being convicted of a felony.

This case was investigated by the Burlington, Iowa, Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
