A body was discovered on Saturday evening (July 4th, 2020,) floating in the Mississippi River deceased.
Lt. Joel Larkins along with the Burlington Police was called to the scene. The caller said that there appeared to be a body floating in the river.
More information will be released as it is presented. This is currently under investigation by the Burlington Police Department.
