Crop duster plane lands on Keokuk golf course

Keokuk, Ia (The Hawk Eye)-  There were no injuries after a small crop-dusting plane was forced to make an emergency landing on a Keokuk Golf Course.

The Hawk Eye reports that the plane, which was piloted by Patrick Jones of Australia, was on a test flight from Hayti, Missouri to Vinton.

He had planned to stop at the Keokuk airport but was forced to land on the Elks Fairview Golf Course in Keokuk due to engine trouble.

According to the Keokuk Police Department, the pilot was safely out of the aircraft and walking around when authorities arrived.

The incident is still under investigation.
