Burlington, Ia- A construction worker was killed after being pinned underneath a concrete spreader on US Highway 61.
THe Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that the accident happened on Monday morning on Highway 61 hwere crews were working on a paving project.
First reposnders were able to get the mean out from underneath the machine, but he died from his injuries at the hospital.
The victim’s name has not been released but officials say he was a 61 year old man from Nichols, Ia.
This incident is still under investigation.
