Burlington, Ia- The resurfacing project at the Dankwardt Park tennis court is set to begin next week.
The Burlington Parks and Recreation Department announced that the nets will be taken down on Tuesday, September 8th, so that work can begin on resurfacing the 5 courts.
The project was made possible due to a donation by the Starker Memorial Trust Fund and fundraising done by Brian Japsen and the Burlington Tennis Association.
Work on the courts is expected to last about 2 to 3 weeks.
