Mount Pleasant, Ia- The Midwest Old Settlers and Threshers Association, along with the Midwest Central Railroad, have decided to cancel the Midwest Haunted Rails and Thrashers House of Terror events for 2020.
The Midwest Haunted Rails and Thrashers House of Terror are faced with guidelines for six-foot social distancing, protocols for sanitizing, and cleaning, which creates difficult means for producing the event.
Officials say the safety of their volunteers and visitors was their top priority when making this decision.
