Burlington, Ia- The Des Moines County Treasurer’s office would like to remind property owners that their first-half property tax payments are due by Wednesday, September 30th.
Payments can be made in person at the treasurer’s office until 4:30 PM or online at www.iowatreasurers.org until midnight on September 30th.
They can also be left in the dropbox outside the Des Moines County Courthouse on the south side between the building and the parking lot during business hours.
An interest of 1.5% per month will be added to this payment beginning on October 1st.
