Burlington, Ia- The Burlington Rotary Club is organizing an event to raise funds for local youth initiatives.
The Once Upon a 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held in October to help raise funds to support the club’s literacy promotion and other programs for area children. The event will be held on October 24th at 9:30 AM at Aspen Grove Cemetery and will be held rain or shine.
Registration is $25 for ages 13 and older, $15 for ages 5 to 12, and 4 and younger free, through Oct. 21. After Oct. 21, and prior to the event, registration is $25 for all participants ages 5 and older. A signed liability waiver must be provided by a parent or guardian for all participants younger than 18 years of age.
Day-of-event registration is 8 to 9 a.m.
