Des Moines, Ia- The total number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Iowa has increased to over 94,000.
According to the latest data on the state’s coronavirus tracking website, the state received a total of 3,213 tests Tuesday and of those, 329 tests came back positive.
That brings the total number of positive tests in Iowa since the pandemic began to 94,056.
In Des Moines County, 6 positive cases were reported Tuesday, bringing the total number of positive cases in the county to 918 since the pandemic began.
As of Wednesday Des Moines County showed a 14-day positivity average of 9.7%. Henry county showed the highest 14-day positivity average in southeast Iowa with 15.7%.
