Washington (AP) — Judge Amy Coney Barrett is set to be confirmed to the US Supreme Court, despite strong Democratic opposition.

After weeks of hearings, the vote to appoint Barrett is set to take place today (Monday).

Democrats, however, continue to argue that the winner of the November 3rd Elections should choose the nominee to replace the late justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg after the election.
